What is an Industrial Designer?
An industrial designer is one who conceptualises and implements designs for products that we use every day such as MP3 players, coffee makers, and mobile phones. He or she works with people within an industrial company to check if the product designs would work or not. Some industrial designers are employed in offices, while others do freelance work. A bachelor’s degree is needed for one to become an industrial designer. There are companies that offer industrial-design-related jobs to potential candidates, so stiff competition for the position is expected. However, if the person exudes in ability to create and develop ideas that will serve both the needs of producers and users in the industry, he or she will surely land a high-paying job.
